Scholarships 2004/2005

Well, I'm very pleased as well as shocked when I read my name on the scholarship postings this year. I not only won one scholarship for my work but I won 3 of them. One goes towards my tuition in Florence, which will obviously help.

It's nice to get this sort of recognition. It's very encouraging.

This is the second finished work from the 24 Hour Marathon. It's my favourite.

The work was drawn for life within the 24 hours. Jane came and posed from 10 pm until 4 am. If I had more time she wouldn't look so blue. I don't really like life drawings because any long pose is never very exciting. It's to hard to hold interesting poses for any length of time. Jane was great, as always, at the opening. She wore the same costume and brought a lot of attention to my work.
